About the cause: Livelihoods
Empower the extreme poor by increasing their skills, knowledge and giving them the resources they need. Donate to helping the poor in finding sustainable livelihoods and fighting poverty by giving them access to skill training, employment opportunities, farming resources, etc. A sustainable livelihood helps people live with dignity and security.
Vocational training
India has a surplus of close to 50 million working people while there is a shortage of 40+ million skilled working people. Only with quality training can underprivileged youth find opportunities for better employment. Donate to help the poor youth get access to quality livelihood and social skills like computers, accounts, teaching, etc so that they can fight unemployment and lead their families out of poverty.
Farmers
Nearly 86% of farm investment depends on loans. Farmers in India are amongst the worst-off regarding employment and income. They are crushed in the vicious cycle of debt and irregular income. Donate to rural development by helping the farmers get access to grains, seeds and saplings, etc. that they need for a successful crop and help them break the loan cycle.
Extreme Need
Those in extreme need are usually socially excluded and face a lack of basic necessitates for reasons like living in underserved areas or social stigma of being affected with an incurable illness. Donate to those in extreme need and help them with resources like food, medical care, livelihood resources, sanitation, education, etc. to enable them to lead a normal life.
Under Funded
Donate to underfunded programs that are doing great work to provide the poor with necessities like food, shelter, education, senior care, and healthcare. These nonprofits are struggling to continue to help people as they are not receiving the necessary support. Help them with their efforts with your donations.
